VIDEO: Another Protest in Tbilisi

The opposition party ‘Girchi’ is holding a protest near the parliament building against conscription. This is reported by the Telegram channel Sputnik Georgia.

The party believes that the army should consist of motivated and interested individuals, while mandatory military service is an outdated, ineffective, and costly system.

The controversial ‘Girchi’ party previously created a fake religious organization, and young people became its ‘priests’ to avoid conscription. Amendments to the Georgian Defense Code eliminate this loophole.
