Stabbing Incident Near a Yerevan High School

Today, March 10th, a stabbing incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 09:30, the police department of the Erebuni district received a call from the Saint Astvatsamayr Medical Center, reporting that an individual with a "stab wound to the right thigh, puncture wound to the left buttock" had been brought in by an ambulance team from the address on Tigran Mets Avenue 74. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

Police determined that the victim is 17-year-old Hayk H., a resident of Yerevan, who initially claimed that his injuries were the result of a fall in the yard.

However, law enforcement officials found out that around 09:00, Hayk H. had been stabbed by 18-year-old Vigen A., also a resident of Yerevan, in the vicinity of Yerevan's number 119 school. A few hours later, after discussions with the police, Vigen voluntarily reported to the Erebuni police station and admitted to stabbing him.

Both the victim and the perpetrator attend the Benjamin Jamkochyan High School No. 119 in Yerevan.
