In the Syunik province of Armenia, additional medical specialists have been sent to the Kapan Medical Center from the medical facilities of Goris and Kajaran to provide faster and more efficient assistance to the victims of a school bus accident. This information was reported by the Syunik regional administration.
It was noted that the Governor of Syunik, Robert Ghukasian, visited the site of the school bus accident and also went to the Kapan Medical Center. The governor toured the hospital rooms and inquired about the health conditions of the passengers receiving treatment.
Currently, the health status of the children is deemed satisfactory. However, the condition of three adults is assessed as critical, while the others are evaluated as stable.
Earlier reports indicate that a bus transporting students in the administrative area of the village of Argavand veered off the roadway and ended up overturned in a river from a height of about 5 meters.
