Widespread protests against judicial reforms are taking place in Israel, leading to clashes with the police. A large number of people have blocked a section of a major highway near the government complex in Tel Aviv, waving Israeli flags.

Protesters are demanding that the authorities do not undermine the foundations of Israel's Declaration of Independence, which establishes the democratic nature of the state. This marks the ninth consecutive week of protests.

The massive rally began in the central square of Khabim, after which the crowd of protesters marched towards the government complex. Demonstrations have also occurred in several major cities, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Beersheba, and Netanya.
