The situation around the Parliament building in Tbilisi is currently calm. This has been reported by Georgian media outlets. It is noted that the Patrol Police are stationed and monitoring the entrance to the Parliament. Some protesters are attempting to approach the building, but are being prevented from doing so.

Earlier, it was reported that the foreign agents bill has been withdrawn from the Georgian Parliament. This was stated in a joint announcement by the initiators of the bill, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party, and the ''People’s Power'' civic movement, as well as the parliamentary majority.

Recall that mass protests are taking place in the center of Tbilisi against the foreign agents bill approved by the Parliament.
