49 Mafia Members Arrested in Italy
In a special operation, 49 members of the Italian mafia have been arrested in the Calabria region of Italy. This has been reported by the Italian news agency ANSA.
The arrested individuals are members of the historic 'Ndrangheta and 'Ndrangheta clans, which are located in the Gioia Tauro area. According to law enforcement, 34 members of the Italian mafia have been detained, while 15 others are under house arrest.
It is worth noting that 'Ndrangheta is a major organized crime group in Italy and one of the most influential criminal organizations in the world.
