Pipe from Boiler House Falls on Residential Roof in Meghri Due to Strong Wind

At approximately 10:35 AM, a call was received by the National Center for Crisis Management of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, indicating that a metal pipe had fallen on the roof of the residential building number 10 on Zoravar Andranik Street in Meghri, and assistance from rescuers was needed to remove it.

It turned out that a non-operational boiler house pipe, about 20 meters in length and 1 meter in diameter, had fallen from the roof of a two-story residential building due to strong winds.

The structural elements of the roof were partially damaged (approximately 150 square meters), along with 2 electric poles and 1 fruit tree, but there were no casualties. Due to the strong winds, some neighborhoods in Meghri experienced power outages.
