Pashinyan Meets with US Co-Chair of OSCE Minsk Group Luis Bono

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted Luis Bono, the Senior Advisor on Caucasus Negotiations and the American Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, Pashinyan drew Bono's attention to the fact that Azerbaijani armed forces executed a diversionary attack in Nagorno-Karabakh on March 5. Pashinyan added that while Azerbaijan claims readiness to engage in dialogue with representatives of Nagorno-Karabakh, it simultaneously conducts terrorist activities that have resulted in the deaths of three officers from the Passport and Visa Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nagorno-Karabakh, with one more injured.

The source indicates that the interlocutors discussed the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the blockade of the Lachin corridor. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the necessity for Azerbaijan to promptly comply with the International Court of Justice's ruling regarding the unblocking of the corridor.

It was also noted that issues related to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, were discussed.
