We Are Hostages in the Hands of Azerbaijanis, the Only Path is to Fight Until the End: Artsakh Prime Minister

We are hostages in the hands of Azerbaijanis; Baku's goal is to treat prisoners and hostages as they wish and to extract as much as possible from the people of Artsakh. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Artsakh Republic, Gurgen Nersisyan, during a public broadcast.

'Azerbaijan is taking all possible measures to bring us to the negotiating table to discuss issues that serve their interests. We can have negotiations, interactions, and meetings to resolve specific issues. However, we do not have the necessary conditions for all three of these options.'

Regarding the recent incident, he noted that Azerbaijanis had likely pursued and carried out this terrorist act after descending from their positions. 'This is a terrorist act, and through this, the Azerbaijanis want to show that Artsakh cannot have any connection with the outside world. It was obvious that the vehicle was empty; Baku's claims that weapons were being transported from Armenia in that vehicle are false and baseless. The incident occurred near the line of contact, about 6-7 kilometers from Stepanakert,' the Prime Minister emphasized.

He stated that there is no opportunity for either retreat or non-fighting; the only path is to fight until the end on our own land. The international community and Azerbaijan must understand this.
