Alen Simonian Orders Compensation for Women in the National Assembly

The female members and staff of the National Assembly will be awarded a compensation of sixty thousand drams. This directive was signed by National Assembly President Alen Simonian.

“Guided by clause 12 of part 2 of Article 5 of the constitutional law ‘Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,’ I order that the female deputies and female employees of the National Assembly be compensated with sixty thousand drams, in accordance with the attached document,” the National Assembly President's decision states.

Simonian has instructed David Arakelyan, Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, to ensure the relevant payments are made in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
