VIDEO: Brawl in the Georgian Parliament

A brawl has erupted in the Georgian Parliament. The situation escalated after the chairman of the legal committee called for several lawmakers to be removed from the chamber for shouting and intervening from their seats. As a result, some opposition members were indeed expelled.

The session has now been postponed. The Legal Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament is discussing the 'Foreign Agents' legislation today.

According to Aliq.ge, the committee chairman, Anri Okhanashvili, has announced two technical pauses due to the lawmakers' protests and shouting. Ten lawmakers received warnings, and some left the chamber.
