Video: "I Will Hit You, Pay Attention" - Gevorg Petrosyan to Police Officer

The Police of Armenia has released a video accompanied by the following statement.

“On March 11 at 21:00, officers from the Patrol Service of the Kotayk Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noticed a ‘Mercedes’ vehicle driving erratically on the Abovyan-Yerevan highway. Near the Northern Bus Station in Yerevan, the driver of the ‘Mercedes’ did not comply with the legal demand of the patrol officers to stop, continuing to drive in a reckless manner. The officers pursued him, repeatedly issuing the legal request to ‘stop’. The vehicle was forced to stop on Tsarav Aghbyur Street in Yerevan. The driver issued threats and attempted to flee. Continuing the pursuit, the officers forced the vehicle to stop again on the same street. The driver refused to undergo a sobriety test and threatened the officers. The driver was arrested and taken to the Nor Nork division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. A criminal case has been initiated.”
