A new earthquake has been recorded in Turkey's southeastern Hatay province, which borders Syria. According to Ermenihaber.am, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority reported that on March 6, at 14:02 local time (15:02 Turkey time), an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred at a depth of 7 km in the Arsuz district of Hatay Province.
It is important to remember that on February 6, powerful earthquakes struck Turkey's Kahramanmaraş (historically known as Maraş) province, particularly in the Pazarcık (7.7 magnitude) and Elbistan (7.6 magnitude) districts, which were also felt in neighboring provinces. According to the latest report from the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, the death toll stands at 49,089 people.
