Casualties on Azerbaijani Side; Territorial Loss Claims are False, Says Artsakh Minister
Following an armed attack by a diversion group from the Azerbaijani armed forces on officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, there have been no territorial losses for the Artsakh side. This was stated by Gurgen Nersisyan, the Minister of State of Artsakh, on his Facebook page. According to him, reports of territorial losses are false.
“The Azerbaijani side has suffered casualties and has retreated,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that earlier today, around 10:00 a.m., a diversion group of the Azerbaijani armed forces targeted and opened fire on a vehicle transporting personnel of the Passport and Visa Department of the police during a shift change. As a result, three police officers were killed: Lieutenant Colonel Armen Mayorovich Babayan, Major Davit Valeriyevich Danielyan, and Lieutenant Ararat Telmanovich Gasparyan. Another officer, Lieutenant Davit Ashoti Hovsepyan, was wounded and is currently receiving medical care at the Republican Medical Center under the supervision of doctors.
