Armenia or Pashinyan: Raffi Hovannisian Issues a Statement
Former Armenian Foreign Minister Raffi Hovannisian has issued a message stating: "Our golden generation, with barely 15 soldiers having been elevated, is facing a military criminal enemy that, emboldened by the external insignificance and internal disgrace of the submissive Yerevan authorities, has returned to its traditional armament of disgusting terrorism against the Armenian people.
The recent ambush attack by the Azerbaijan-Turkey duo against three police officers from Artsakh, and thus against our statehood, finally sounds the alarm about the perfect impotence of the ruling regime and its creeping, wavering 'politics' to present our state and national vital interests both against the enemy and in the world at large.
With the current supreme murderers and their nonchalant apologists, what peace, what sovereignty, or integrity can be achieved? What implementation of UN or international court decisions? What diplomacy exists that, aside from its name, has no touchpoint with Armenia and any of its rights?
Stay away from the Commander-in-Chief—it’s enough to theorize about him. We must strive to align ourselves with his message, to become citizens, and then as a people, be the Commander-in-Chief. Let's talk meaningfully, insightfully, and practically.
Let's transform ourselves, our internal moods, our state of being, our mental state, our governmental situation—let’s find a way out. Otherwise, the enemy will continue doing this, harshly, relentlessly, and violently, until the end, until Stepanakert, and then, eventually, Yerevan.
This is the legacy or destiny of our Armenia or Pashinyan. The choice is ours—everyone's. To be or not to be."
