Peaceful protests in Athens have turned into riots that have been ongoing for several days. According to reports from the Telegram channel Lenta Dnya, residents of the Greek capital took to the streets due to an accident involving trains.

Recently, a passenger train collided with a freight train, resulting in the deaths of more than 50 people. City residents believe that the authorities should be held accountable for the accident as they failed to monitor the condition of the tracks.

As a consequence, peaceful marches have transformed into chaos for the third consecutive day.
