‘Hraparak’ newspaper writes: 'Government sources insist that the decision to remove Suren Papikyan from the position of Minister of Defense has been made, and the implementation mechanism is currently being discussed. The question of where Papikyan will go and who will replace him remains unanswered.

Despite media reports that the candidate is Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the ruling party and head of the defense committee, these rumors seem to be spread by Kocharyan himself.
