A 48-year-old virologist, Andrey Botikov, has died in Moscow. The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched a criminal case under the article of "Murder". This information was reported by regnum.ru.

According to investigators, the murder took place on March 2 in Moscow. They believe that a 29-year-old man strangled the apartment owner with a belt during an argument and then fled the scene.
