Aghazaryan Recognized as Victim After Altercation with Vendor; Investigative Committee Provides Details

KP member Hovik Aghazaryan has been recognized as a victim, and one individual has been detained. This was reported to Panorama.am by the Investigative Committee.

"There was a report regarding physical influence and threats, which has already been forwarded to the Investigative Committee," the police stated.

The Investigative Committee indicated that a criminal case was initiated following the receipt of the report. "The report concerned specific actions conducted by citizens against him. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 297, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to hooliganism. The deputy has been recognized as a victim. The circumstances of the incident will be clarified during the investigation," they noted.

When asked whether Aghazaryan had been subjected to violence and if there was any evidence, the Investigative Committee stated that they currently do not have such information.

It is important to remind that the altercation occurred between Aghazaryan and a vendor operating in the street.
