Cable Car to be Constructed in Yerevan

Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan addressed the construction project of a cable car during a government meeting. He inquired with the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan about the current phase of the cable car project:

“It is in the completion stage. We are currently summarizing and forming the overall picture, and soon the program will reach the government,” Vahan Kerobyan stated.

Tigran Avinyan also responded: “The agreement concerning infrastructure investment is as follows. Investors are ready to invest up to 20 million dollars for the construction of the cable car. If the amount exceeds this, which is unlikely, then the Ministry of Economy can intervene under the infrastructure program.”

According to Tigran Avinyan, the investor in Yerevan's children's railway is also prepared to construct the cable car, for which 20 million dollars will be allocated.
