Thieves Rob the Residence of the Ijevan Prosecutor

The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that on Saturday, February 25, a burglary was recorded in the city of Ijevan. According to our sources in Ijevan, thieves broke into the residence of Prosecutor Vasil Sargsyan, stealing more than $25,000 and gold jewelry.

It is noteworthy that Ijevan Prosecutor Vasil Sargsyan is the nephew of the Minister of Internal Affairs Vahe Ghazaryan.

The Investigative Committee confirmed our information in a conversation with us: 'Such an incident has occurred; a criminal case has been initiated under the features of residential burglary, according to Part 2 of Article 254 of the Criminal Code. At this moment, the amount of damage has not been specified, and measures are being taken in this direction,' said spokesperson Gor Abrahamyan of the Investigative Committee.
