New Military Uniforms Will Feature Quality Differences and National Elements, Papikyan

On March 1, during a visit to a military unit, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan had lunch with conscript soldiers and listened to their opinions and suggestions about the food provided to them. Minister Papikyan discussed the organization of military service, combat duty, and rear support with the soldiers.

The Defense Minister presented the changes regarding the uniforms of the Armed Forces personnel. He assured that the newly designed uniforms will differ in quality and will incorporate national elements in their insignia.

Afterward, accompanied by the commanders of the military unit and brigade, the minister visited the southeastern border areas, toured combat positions, and spoke with conscript soldiers on duty and their immediate commanders. Suren Papikyan paid special attention to the outfitting of strongholds, trenches, observation posts, positional structures, engineering works, and living conditions.

The Defense Minister thanked the conscript soldiers for their diligent service and vigilant maintenance of the border. He instructed the command staff to reward distinguished soldiers on combat duty with additional leave.
