Gunfire Erupts During Wedding in Iran, Casualties Reported

In Fars province, Iran, two people have been killed and five others injured due to gunfire during a wedding ceremony, reports Tasnim agency citing police data.

"Unfortunately, during a wedding ceremony in the city of Kirokazin, two people have lost their lives and five have been injured. They have been hospitalized," the statement reads.

It has been reported that eyewitnesses located the assailant, who approached the police and surrendered along with his firearm used in the shooting that resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
