Spokesperson for Artsakh President Discusses Meeting Between Artsakh and Azerbaijan Representatives
The Russian side continues to make efforts to reopen the road to Artsakh in the short term. This was stated by the spokesperson for the President of Artsakh, Lusine Avanesyan, in an interview with Artsakhpress.
“According to our information, the Russian side continues to exert efforts in this direction, and we hope for a positive breakthrough on this matter in the near future,” said Avanesyan.
The spokesperson confirmed that an agreement was reached during the meeting between the representatives of Artsakh and Azerbaijan to restore the complete gas and electricity supply from Armenia to Artsakh.
“During the meeting, an agreement was reached to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the Armenia-Artsakh gas pipeline, to renovate the Shinuhaid-Stpianakert 110 kV single high-voltage overhead line, and to restore electricity supply. We are awaiting appropriate actions from the Azerbaijani side that will allow our specialists to reach the site of the power supply disruption, assess the damage, and begin repair work,” the spokesperson stated.
