Why the Authorities are Now Exploiting Amulsar: 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports: The government has signed a package worth 250 million dollars with the company Lydian. In a conversation with journalists in parliament yesterday, Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan announced that the Amulsar mine will soon be put into operation.

It should be noted that the company 'Lydian Armenia' has done virtually nothing during this period to exploit the mine, while the authorities have taken every step to sign documents for its exploitation. The fact is that the government is trying to raise funds to show that they are filling the budget and securing revenues.

It is no secret that the issue of exploiting the Amulsar mine previously caused dissatisfaction among the residents of Jermuk. Now, by exploiting the Amulsar mine, they also want to revitalize life in Jermuk, showing that everything is well there, although in reality, the town is almost empty with very few people. This is an attempt to demonstrate that they are revitalizing life in Jermuk while simultaneously filling the budget with 250 million.
