Pashinyan to Visit Germany

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, is set to visit Germany on March 2-3. This information has been confirmed by the government.

It is noted that on March 2, Pashinyan will meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The following day, the Prime Minister will be received by President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at his residence in Bellevue Palace, Berlin.

Pashinyan last visited Berlin before the 44-day war.

Earlier today, it was reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

According to the statement, the interlocutors discussed the humanitarian, environmental, and energy crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh caused by Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of necessary actions to overcome this crisis by Russia.

Additionally, the Prime Minister highlighted the fact of the International Court of Justice's decision concerning the unblocking of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan.
