Efforts Underway to Free Gyumri from Shacks by 2027, Governor States

The Governor of Shirak province, Mushegh Muradyan, stated during a press conference after a government session that efforts are being made to free Gyumri from shacks by 2027 through various platforms.

Addressing questions regarding the social issues and poverty present in Gyumri, the governor remarked that Gyumri is the second-largest city in the republic, and therefore, social problems are inevitable. “The earthquake and the war have contributed to the increase of social issues. Now Gyumri is a thriving city. And I see day by day that these social problems are decreasing,” said the governor.

Regarding the shacks, Muradyan stated, “We must free Gyumri from shacks by 2027.”
