100 Turkish Armed Forces Soldiers Killed Due to Earthquake, Akar Details

As a result of the devastating earthquakes that struck on February 6, with the epicenter in Kahramanmaraş province, up to 100 soldiers of the Turkish Armed Forces have lost their lives. This was announced by the country's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar during a broadcast on TRT Haber.

According to the Minister of Defense, 66 soldiers have been injured due to the earthquakes. Additionally, two service members are considered missing.

It is noteworthy that on February 6, two earthquakes with a magnitude exceeding seven occurred in Kahramanmaraş. The death toll from the catastrophic earthquakes has surpassed 43,500.
