Prigozhin Claims Wagner Has Destroyed About 110,000 Ukrainian Soldiers
Since the beginning of the special operation, more than one hundred thousand Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in battles involving the Wagner private military company, stated the group’s founder, Yevgeny Prigozhin. He also denied reports suggesting that his group had lost approximately 30,000 fighters during the special military operation in Ukraine.
“The number of dead is significantly higher than 30,000; I think it’s about 100,000 to 110,000. However, you have misphrased it; they did not die within the ranks of Wagner, but were killed when they fell into Wagner's combat formations. All these service members from the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other entities who try to fight against Wagner,” Prigozhin’s words are quoted by his press service.
Earlier, Prigozhin reported that American mercenary Peter Reed, who was killed near Bakhmut, was murdered by his own troops.
