Grigori Khachaturov Arrested: Media Reports

Grigori Khachaturov, a general and former commander of the 3rd Army Corps, has been arrested. This is reported by 168.am.

According to the site, General Khachaturov was detained by the Investigative Department of the National Security Service to be presented to the court for detention.

“The experienced military officer was arrested days ago as a result of poorly staged speeches by the pro-government lawmakers and Prosecutor General Anna Vardanyan in the National Assembly, when they were discussing the prosecutor's motion regarding former Minister of Defense and ‘Armenia’ alliance deputy Seyran Ohanyan. The aim of those discussions was clear to many: Grigori Khachaturov was the target,” the site writes.
