Our Economy Suffers Huge Losses Every Day: The Minister Held an Online Meeting with Representatives of About 40 Charitable Organizations

The State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, held an online meeting with representatives of about 40 charitable organizations that are providing support to Artsakh amid the ongoing blockade. Also participating in the meeting were the state minister's advisor Artak Beglaryan and the Minister of Social Development and Migration of Artsakh, Armen Mangasaryan.

State Minister Ruben Vardanyan thanked the representatives of the charitable organizations for their activities and for standing by Artsakh and its people during this difficult time. He presented the situation in Artsakh, noting that the crisis is not only reflected in the absence of food or fuel but has a profound impact on all areas of public life. "The blockade has caused problems not only in daily life but also in the economy, education, culture, and other sectors. Our economy suffers huge losses every day," he stated.

The minister presented the important work being carried out in six specified areas, emphasizing that charitable organizations also play a critical role in the first of these areas, which is enhancing the subjectivity of Artsakh.

"A humanitarian unacceptable crisis has been created, which does not allow people to lead a normal and full life. In this sense, it is very important that you also voice this issue. It is important not only for your material assistance but also for your voice to be heard and for the problem to be correctly presented to the world," he said.

Ruben Vardanyan introduced the participants to various programs and priorities in the fields of healthcare, social issues, and infrastructure, particularly stressing the importance of targeted assistance.

Minister of Social Development and Migration Armen Mangasaryan provided detailed information to the representatives of the charitable organizations regarding the processes associated with the transportation of humanitarian cargo and the mechanisms for distributing the delivered cargo. The minister emphasized that the humanitarian cargo received through charitable means is distributed exclusively free of charge to socially vulnerable groups. The processes are carried out transparently, and reports about these will be provided to the charitable organizations.

The minister also highlighted the importance of effective cooperation and ongoing communication with charitable organizations so that they are aware of the existing needs and their support can be more targeted.

During the meeting, State Minister Ruben Vardanyan, advisor Artak Beglaryan, and Minister Armen Mangasaryan also answered numerous questions from the participants.
