Discussed Topics at the Pashinyan-Aliyev-Blinken Meeting Revealed
During the Munich Security Conference, a trilateral meeting was held between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The Armenian government reports that the meeting addressed the process of the peace treaty draft between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the unblocking of regional transportation infrastructure and the demarcation between the two countries, in accordance with the agreements reached in Prague.
Prime Minister Pashinyan reaffirmed the Armenian side's commitment to achieving a treaty that will genuinely guarantee long-term peace and stability in the region. At the same time, Pashinyan emphasized the fact of Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor and the resulting humanitarian, environmental, and energy crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The importance of ensuring the continuity of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan was highlighted.
