G7 Nations Agree to Tighten Sanctions Against Russia
The foreign ministers of the G7 countries have agreed to maintain and strengthen sanctions against Russia during negotiations held today in Munich. This agreement stems from the situation created around Ukraine, as stated in a message released by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Meeting participants agreed to uphold and tighten sanctions against the Russian Federation, and also committed to asking third countries to cease providing assistance to Russia," the document notes.
Additionally, the foreign ministers agreed to continue active cooperation with Ukraine, emphasizing their determination to assist the Ukrainian authorities.
