Negotiating with Kurds is Easier than with Americans: Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that it is easier to negotiate with the Kurds on humanitarian issues than with the Americans.
This opinion was expressed during a meeting with Russia's Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova. The children's rights commissioner informed the president about how the U.S. initially tried to hinder her efforts to repatriate Russian children through Kurdish forces.
“You can negotiate with the Kurds. You have made agreements. Well, you see? Continue this work,” Putin responded.
