Car in Kapan Goes off Road and Overturns, Injuries Reported

On February 17th, at 02:31 AM, the Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a traffic accident at the end of Gorzaran Street in the city of Kapan, with injuries reported. A response team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the site. This was announced by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It was revealed that a "VAZ-2106" vehicle, driven by A. P. (born in 1998), went off the roadway and ended up overturned on the roadside. Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver and a passenger (G. G., born in 1987) were transported to the Kapan Medical Center, where doctors assessed A. P.'s condition as satisfactory, while G. G.'s condition was deemed of moderate severity. Rescuers deactivated the vehicle and shut off the valve of the gas cylinder.
