According to Their Perceptions, They Should Have Long Ago Conquered Bakhmut: Kuleba

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has stated that if Ukrainian forces retreat from Bakhmut (Donetsk region), another city will become the new Bakhmut.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, referencing the words of the head of Ukraine's Foreign Ministry in an interview with WAZ. “Those who complain that the defense is suffering many casualties should not forget: if we retreat, another city will become the new Bakhmut. That is why our soldiers are fighting for every square centimeter of land,” Kuleba said.

He expressed confidence that Ukrainian forces will hold Bakhmut. Additionally, according to the minister, a new Russian offensive has already begun, and the Russians plan to intensify the fighting until spring.

“But their plan will not work; they should have long ago conquered Bakhmut according to their perceptions,” Kuleba added.
