Public Criminal Prosecution Initiated Against Seyran Ohanyan and Armen Charchyan

Public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Seyran Ohanyan and Armen Charchyan, members of the National Assembly's 'Armenia' faction. This was stated in an interview with Armenpress by the advisor to the Prosecutor General, Lusine Martirosyan.

She mentioned that Seyran Ohanyan has been charged with misconduct. Ohanyan is accused of having committed significant waste by misusing his official position (in two instances), as well as for using his official position against the interests of service due to personal gain and group interests, which resulted in severe consequences due to negligence (in two instances).

Armen Charchyan is accused of providing a false medical conclusion in the case of Arthur Sargsyan, known to the public as the 'Bread Bringer.'

It should be noted that the National Assembly granted permission to initiate criminal prosecution against Seyran Ohanyan and Armen Charchyan on February 8, based on the requests presented by the Prosecutor General.
