Armenia Ready to Provide Assistance: Pashinyan on Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has addressed the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria. “I am saddened by the news of the destructive earthquake in Turkey and Syria, which has resulted in numerous casualties. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Armenia is ready to provide assistance,” Pashinyan wrote on Twitter.

It is recalled that Josep Borrell, the head of European diplomacy, noted that the EU is ready to assist Turkey and Syria following the powerful earthquake. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has also reported that two aircraft will be sent to Turkey in connection with the earthquake. Israel's Minister of Defense has ordered the military to be prepared to go to Turkey to assist with rescue operations in the affected regions. Jayhun Bayramov has called Cavusoglu and informed him that the emergency rescue forces of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations will begin rescue operations in Turkey in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis stated that Greece has mobilized its resources to clear the devastation in Turkey and Syria, and that Greece will send assistance to both countries.
