Video: Around Two Dozen Detained, Details on Operations Near the Ministry of Defense Building

The Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate for Public Order Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Gevorg Azizyan, provided details regarding the police operations. It is recalled that today the police conducted an operation in accordance with the Government of Armenia's decision No. 797 and based on a letter issued by the State Revenue Committee, concerning the unlawful intrusion of a group of individuals.

The Armenian Police issued a clarification stating that on February 16, officers from various divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted an operation in the former administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense located in the Proshyan community of Kotayk province, aimed at removing unlawfully present individuals from the area, based on a letter received from the State Revenue Committee and in accordance with Government decision 797-N.

Employees from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ambulance services also participated in the operation. For more details, see the video.
