VIDEO: Armenian Rescuers Return to Armenia via Margara Bridge from Turkey
This night, Armenian rescuers who had been dispatched to Turkey returned to Armenia, crossing the border via the Margara Bridge. The 27-member team of Armenian rescuers worked for 9 days in the earthquake-affected city of Adiyaman, Turkey. They traveled 760 km to reach the Margara Bridge.
The rescuers were welcomed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Vahe Ghazaryan, who expressed gratitude to the rescue team for their efforts. It is worth noting that the Republic of Armenia sent 29 rescuers to Syria and 27 to Turkey, supporting search and rescue operations in the regions affected by the earthquake.
