Pentagon Chief Promises Ukraine Will Launch Counteroffensive in Spring

“Ukraine’s partners will help it launch a counteroffensive in the spring,” stated U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin during a meeting with NATO country partners in Brussels.

“We will support Ukraine’s struggle for freedom in the long term and assist the country in enduring and moving forward during the spring counteroffensive,” he added.

The Pentagon chief emphasized the need to strengthen military assistance to Kyiv and support it during this critical moment.
