Moldova Closes Its Airspace: Unknown Drone Detected in the Sky

Moldova has temporarily closed its airspace. Regular flights have been canceled, reported the national airline Air Moldova. According to Interfax, "the decision was made for safety reasons."

"Dear passengers, at this moment, the airspace of the Republic of Moldova is closed, and we are awaiting the resumption of flights. Those who are currently at the airport, on an airplane, or preparing to depart, please remain calm and follow the airport's informational panels online," the statement said.

Some Telegram channels report that the reason for this decision is the sighting of an unknown drone in the country's airspace.
