Hundreds of Protesters Attempt to Storm Albania's Parliament
In Tirana, police have pushed back protesters who attempted to storm the parliament building, according to Associated Press.
The demonstration was organized by the opposition Democratic Party, led by former President and Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
On Monday, lawmakers from this party disrupted a parliamentary session, demanding the resignation of the government.
They occupied the podium and shouted to prevent anyone from speaking.
The opposition accuses the Socialist Party and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama of corruption and organized crime, as well as the mass emigration of young Albanians to Western Europe.
