The Life of Little Vardan and His Mother Rescued from Rubble in Turkey is Under Threat
The life of several-month-old Vardan and his mother Yasmin, rescued from the rubble in Turkey, is at risk. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by Bagrat Estukyan, the editor of the newspaper "Agos," published in Istanbul.
“During this time, we have heard about individuals who are rescued but later die in the hospital. The mother and child were under the rubble for such a long time, and their lives are in danger. Their condition is not very good,” Estukyan noted.
He stated that currently, 10 members of the Armenian community in Turkey have died and have already been buried.
Recall that Swiss rescuers pulled several-month-old Vardan and his mother Yasmin from the rubble yesterday.
It is worth mentioning that on February 6, at 05:17, an earthquake occurred in the Kahramanmaraş province of Turkey, causing devastation in several cities. At 14:24 and 14:36 Yerevan time, two more strong earthquakes were recorded. The intensity of the tremors in the epicenter area was between 10-11 points.
The same earthquake also caused destruction in Syria.
