Son of Former MP Kidnaps Notable Businessman's Prado in Ararat and Crashes it
An extraordinary incident and major traffic accident occurred in the Ararat region today. Around 8:00 PM, the 911 crisis management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia received a call reporting a significant car accident near the Zod bridge in Ararat.
According to Shamshyan.com, it was revealed that a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and a VAZ 2104 were involved in a collision at the specified location. As a result of the crash, the VAZ flipped over, and two individuals received first aid on-site from doctors of the 'Ararat' Medical Center before being transported to the facility.
The Toyota belongs to Armen Sargsyan, a well-known businessman in the Ararat region and the director of the 'Ararat' wine and brandy factory. The vehicle was reported stolen from the factory, prompting Sargsyan to alert the operational management center of the National Police of Armenia, which subsequently issued a vehicle alert.
Witnesses at the scene, including Sargsyan, informed Gagik Shamshyan that the car was taken by Nahapet Gevorgyan, the son of former parliament member known as 'Novoyants' Gevorgyan, who fled the scene after the accident.
