VIDEO: High Heels, Evening Dresses. Turks Discontent with Aid from Europe and the USA

Turkish volunteers have expressed dissatisfaction with the humanitarian aid received from Europe and the United States. They say they are grateful to everyone, but items such as lingerie, high heels, and false eyelashes are not what should be sent as assistance to disaster areas. This was reported by the Mash Telegram channel.

Volunteers noted that they had previously sent lists indicating the necessary items, such as tents, gas stoves, and practical clothing. "But, as it turns out, there have been difficulties with translation and we were not understood," said one of the volunteers.

The boxes of aid that arrived from the USA and Europe at the sorting center in Izmir were filled with unnecessary items: sequined dresses, high heels, hair styling tools, evening gowns, makeup accessories, and other party-related items. Furthermore, they pointed out that there were also a significant number of dirty items included.
