Iranian Intelligence Arrests Perpetrators of Drone Attack on Defense Ministry Facility

Iranian intelligence has arrested the perpetrators behind a drone attack on a facility controlled by the Ministry of Defense in Isfahan, reports the Iranian news agency IRNA. The identities of those arrested have not yet been disclosed.

Recall that on the evening of January 28, 2023, around 23:00, a drone attack targeted one of the production complexes of Iran's Ministry of Defense located in Isfahan. Three drones were repelled by air defense forces. One drone was shot down by the air defense system, while the other two fell into defensive traps and exploded. The failed attack did not result in any casualties and caused minor damage to the roof of the plant, and did not disrupt the operations of the complex.
