An Azerbaijani 'Tourist' Reveals What Is Actually Happening in the Lachin Corridor: He Faces Threats
Daniel Scott, a so-called 'tourist,' was among the 30 'tourists' sent by the Azerbaijani government to the area of the blocked Lachin corridor. After his visit, Daniel stated that what is happening there has nothing to do with environmental concerns, as reported by Infoteka24.
“Here, no one thinks about the environment, but in this way, you can control the media and world opinion, since theoretically, the ecology is important,” said the tourist, whose comments were covered by journalist Lindsay Snell.
Following the publication, the tourist began to complain about the threats he was receiving and decided to leave Azerbaijan. “In the last few days, the number of threats related to my trip has increased significantly. I was informed that radical insurgents might target me, and it is dangerous for me here. I had to change my plans and decided to go to a safer place,” he wrote on Instagram.
It should be noted that fake environmentalists in Azerbaijan have been blocking the only road connecting Artsakh with Armenia since December 12.
