Seiran Ohanyan is Unwell, Currently in Recovery Phase, Says Khamoyan

The leader of the "Armenia" faction in the National Assembly and former Minister of Defense Seiran Ohanyan has been unwell for several days. This was stated by faction member Agnesa Khamoyan during a briefing with reporters. In response to the question of why Ohanyan is not participating in the parliamentary session where the issue of granting permission for criminal prosecution against him is being discussed, Khamoyan noted, "At this moment, he is in a recovery phase, he is simply unwell."

She emphasized that today the National Assembly is like a travelling theater, and they have decided not to participate in the staging and not to allow the authorities to attempt to divert public attention from the country's real agenda.

It is reported that Armenia's Chief Prosecutor Anna Vardapetyan has submitted motions for public criminal prosecution against "Armenia" faction members Seiran Ohanyan and Armen Charchyan.
