Death Toll from Entrance Collapse in Tula Region Reaches Five
At 16:46 Moscow time (17:46 Yerevan time), an explosion occurred in a residential building on Khimikovi Street in the city of Efremov, Tula Region, resulting in the death of four individuals due to the collapse of one of the entrances. This information was provided by the main department of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Tula Region, as reported by Kp.ru.
“Currently, seven people have been rescued, and preliminary information indicates that one more person remains trapped under the debris,” the ministry’s statement mentioned, adding that in addition to the deceased, three residents have been injured.
Later, the TASS agency, citing representatives of the rescue service, reported that the death toll had risen to five. “They recovered the body of another deceased individual; in total, five people have died, and debris clearing operations are ongoing,” the press service announced.
